El eclipse de ayer fue especial porque pudieron conincidi tres fenómenos. Para empezar tuvo lugar un eclipse total de Luna, para continuar la Luna estaba en su perigeo (el punto de su órbita más cercano a la Tierra), por lo que se veía mucho más grande. Por último, el eclipse hizo que la única luz del Sol que recibió la Luna estuviera tamizada por nuestra atmósfera, lo que tiñó el satélite de un precioso color rojizo. Popularmente este fenómeno se conoce como Luna de Sangre.
Este domingo, diversas organizaciones astronómicas y planetarios en las entidades de México invitaron a los ciudadanos a apreciar en sus instalaciones el eclipse total de Luna, fenómeno que coincide con que el satélite estará en la posición más cercana a la Tierra.
